IST Geeveston and the STT Derwent Park Office, (at 26 Lampton Avenue) have showrooms with a variety of sawn timber, including boards, thin material for box making, pen blanks, knife scales, bowl/platter turning blanks and slabs from most Tasmanian special species.
Custom orders for material sawn and machined to suit your project are welcome. Orders for sawn posts, beams and slabs can be supplied in eucalypt, blackwood, wattle, Huon pine, myrtle and celery-top pine, subject to stock of suitable logs.
As the stock sold by IST is highly variable, not all timbers and dimensions may be available on any given day.
