Log 19, Huon pine with birds-eye figure

Log 19, Huon pine with burls.   A high value log with many birds-eye features around a solid trunk which is slightly curved and has surface damage at the head end.   Bark traces are visible at the butt end.   The sapwood has rotted, which is normal for any tree which has been dead for many decades.  No visible current or past pin hole borer traces, Huon pine is immune.  This log should be milled in two lengths into highly figured slabs or boards.  Length 4.7 metres, butt diameter 58 cm, head diameter 39 cm, volume 0.81 cubic metres, weight about 700 kg.
