Log 21, Sassafras, small black-heart. A head log with small black heart at each end, but many limbs/bumps on one side and surface handling damage for about one metre. Length 4.0 metres, butt diameter 33 cm, head diameter 30 cm, volume 0.30 cubic metres, weight about 325 kg. This log could milled to order at IST Geeveston on their Woodmizer bandsaw mill at $220 / hour; the timber can be collected or freighted to your address strapped and wrapped on a pallet.
