Log 4, Sassafras. A rough shaped head log with many large limbs and bumps, plain wood at each end. Length 5.1 metres, butt diameter 45 cm, head diameter 35 cm, volume 0.64 cubic metres, weight about 700 kg. This log could milled to order at IST Geeveston on their Woodmizer bandsaw mill at $220 / hour; the timber can be collected or freighted to your address strapped and wrapped on a pallet.
